What You Should Know:
As a volunteer, you will help us to make Cosplacon amazing! If you want to be on staff, you must volunteer first. All accepted volunteers will be given a shirt and a pass for the following year. Volunteers that do an amazing job may be given the opportunity to officially join Cosplacon’s staff!
Positions are limited, sign up early!
Volunteer Information:
You will be notified by email on or before December 1st if your volunteer application has been accepted.
All volunteers are expected to work a minimum of 10 hours throughout the four days of the convention.
If you plan join us as a volunteer, please be aware that your behavior should set an example to the other attendees. If your behavior is not in line with our standards, you will be relieved of your duties and possibly be removed from the convention.
As a volunteer, you are able to participate in contests and panels as time allows.
Volunteer Tasks (These are examples only, and not a comprehensive list):
Checking badges at panel/event room doors
Assisting cosplayers during the Cosplay Royale
Assisting staff in the vendors room or registration area
Achievement set up
Assisting staff with various duties such as: running items to different parts of the hotel, moving A/V equipment into and out of panel rooms, etc.
