If you have a day or weekend pass you do not need a wristband, however if you would like to attend only the 18+ event you can purchase a wristband for 15.00 at the door.

This event is for registered contestants only. You must be present at your scheduled time or you may be removed and your place filled with another cosplayer.

Cosplacon's Biggest Cosplay Event. This is a competitive event with prizes awarded in multiple categories. Cosplay Guests join us to select their favorite cosplay of the weekend. Join us and cheer for your favorites. But be sure to arrive early, this event always draws a crowd and fills the room to capacity. 



Samuri Sword Class

3:00 - 4:30 PM

Not a boffer class! Real samurai sword moves and concepts taught by Samurai Dan, a professional swordsman, to con-goers.

Breaking Down Cosplay - KC Senshi

4:30 - 6:00 pm

Have you ever looked at a cosplay and wondered "How??" We have! Join members of KC Senshi as we show you how to break down cosplays to save you a lot of stress and money.

Ninja Olympics

6:00 - 7:00 PM

The ninja clans want you! congoers get to risk life and limb (or at least acute embarrassment to show off their ninja skills. Teams will compete for free candy and bragging rights in this battle of the ages, led by Samurai Dan.

Drunk Drawing (18+)

ID Required

7:30 - 8:00 PM

Drinking and drawing…what could go wrong? Come see for yourself in this audience participation event where featured artists and con staff compete to see who can draw the craziest images based on audience suggestions.

Cosplacon Burlesque Show - 18+ ID REQUIRED

Come and watch lovely ladies shake their stuff in skimpy outfits. There will be a cash only bar available in the event room during this show. Arrive early...these ladies know how to pack a house. 

PLEASE HAVE ID READY & ACCESSIBLE PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE DOOR.

Samurai Battlefield Weaponry is Displayed, Explained and Demonstrated by Samurai Dan, an expert in 16th century Japanese combat. Lecture features stunning visual aid (Blades from 1300- Present) and a Q&A session for attendees.

Anairis & A.J.: Voice Acting - what it’s like

Come learn about what it means to be a voice actor, the in the outs, and all the other things you may need to know.

The Nerf Gun Shootout

3:30 - 5:00 pM

Show your skills as a foam dart pistolero when you join the crew of The U.S.S. Phoenix for the Annual Cosplacon "Red Shirt" Shootout. The rules for this are simple, two combatants enter one combatant leaves (or challenges others). Feel free to bring your own Nerf-style blaster gun or use one of the nerf style pistols provided at the event.

And remember to stay to the end when a special collector's edition Nerf Gun will be raffled off.

Join professional artists telling the hard truth about art. Discuss, learn how to improve, and be blunt.

After a decade of unforgettable experiences, we regret to inform you that this year will mark the final installment of the convention we hold so dear, Cosplacon. It has been an incredible journey, filled with creativity, camaraderie, and the celebration of all things. However, as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Over the past ten years, Cosplacon has grown from a modest gathering of enthusiasts into a vibrant and cherished event, cherished by cosplayers, enthusiasts, and fans alike. We have seen an astonishing array of mind-blowing costumes, jaw-dropping performances, and an unyielding passion for bringing beloved characters to life. Cosplacon has become a haven for all who appreciate the artistry, dedication, and sheer joy that Cosplacon embodies.

The decision to conclude Cosplacon was not an easy one, as we understand the special place it holds in the hearts of our community. However, we believe it is important to honor the legacy of the convention while also looking towards the future.

As we prepare to bid farewell to Cosplacon, we invite you all to join us one last time for an unforgettable final gathering. Let us commemorate the memories we have created together and toast to the friendships forged within these walls. We will ensure that this farewell edition is a fitting tribute to the remarkable ten years we have shared, a celebration that will echo in our hearts for years to come.
